Trade with Plaschke: Pugilists and a Bear

I received these cards right before I left on vacation (I love Taiwan).  So here they are, some weeks later.  You can see my part of the trade at the fantastic Plaschke, Thy Sweater Is Argyle.   Here we are:

A pair of professional pugilists.  On top: Mike Swick.  On bottom: Rich Clementi.  Swick is still in the UFC, while Clementi is not.  These are the first and only Upper Deck "World of Sports" autograph cards I own.  Very, very interesting.  I definitely enjoy the cards because I know who these two men are, and because I love autographs.  However, what if one were to pull an "Athlete of the World" that they were not familiar with?  There would be little context to go by in identifying or recognizing the athlete(s).

2008 Bowman Chrome, Justin Forsett, Signs of the Future auto.  Go Bears!  Hope Forsett gets more playing time next season.  I like the design as is, but what if the background were a full-bleed photograph - still with the partial black border and retro-looking diner sign?  It would probably look awesome on Chrome.  The silver background is a little awkward.

Greg also sent along several Dodgers cards.  Thanks Greg!

Up next... trade with Spiegel.
